stepping foot into new grounds

when we arrived into the guatemalan airport it look quite similar to an american airport. it was the outside that looked different... as i stepped outside it was very crowded with lots of people it wasnt like any american person these were diferent they wore colurul clothes and spoke a very colorful language.ms G soon spotted a guy with a sighn that said MetEast Study Abroad.... we all approched him as he called our names and handed us a folder with spanish words, sentences, phrases, and other spanish words... as we received or folder it was time to step out of the airport and head over to Antigua this was all new for me because i have never left the country so to me i was exloring a whole ne life of living .as we got into the van that would take us into the city of Antigua we was seeing the difference between the streets in america and the streets of Guatemala ... to our surprise there were no stop lights and there were a mcdonalds and burger king....the people of guatemala would ald stand around us with goods to sell to you because it was a way for living it was different for me because in america iam not used to having sellers come up to me and pressure me into buying something so that was a little scary.... but the good part is you can bargain with them so if you l ikie what they are selling you can try to get it cheaper... which i love to do.....after the hour and so van ride to antigua we all get sorted out into our host family ...as i open the door to my new family a whole ne world unfolds.......

First times for everthing = plane Rides=

well its been a few or coulple days but lets start with the flight... it being my first ever airplane ride i was terrified when the plane pulled off my whole face pulled back and i was very quisy..... it was hard leaving the airport but i soon got used to it...when i arrive to charlotte i was verp happy to see charlotte bobcats merchandise which is a nba franchise team. the charlotte airport was much bigger than philadelphias airport.so while in charlotte i walked around the airport mall for a few hours then we borded another plane to guatemala.while on the plane to guatemala i went to sleep immediatlythe ride to guatemala was about to hours. when the plane got closer to the ground the view was just stunning an magnificent .after signing our papers for customs at the airport we headed over to baggage claim then headed out to the streets of Guatemala
